The Zhuang-Yuan-Ao port is the priority-ranked deepwater dock project to develop in WenZhou, which mainly covers the foreign trade cargotainer, mass fancy goods, port town, logistics and dock industry. The Port construction of multi-purpose berths for the project is two 50,000-ton container berths, the investment budget is 1.335 billion yuan, and the construction period is 30 months. Wide distribution of high compressive soft soil(the mean depth 25m,the largest depth 40m) and dredger fill sand about 10m depth is the geological condition of the port. To select an effective soft soil foundation treatment scheme is the key of successful completion considering the geological condition and the project design requirement.By analyzing the practicability of deep soft soil treatment by preloading and precompacting, and superficial layer of dredger fill sand treament by dynamic compaction or vibroflotation compaction, then comparing the schemes of preloading treatment, dynamic compaction and vibroflotation considering the geological condition of the port yard and roadway, and combining the relative in-situ datas, a comprehensive foundation treatment scheme suitable for the project is obtained. In the study, the relative monitoring datas are analyzed using one dimension consolidation program, and then the settlement regular is generalized. The dynamic compaction construction parameters are determined by exprimental dynamic compaction on typical construction area. The technological process and construction technology parameters of vibroflotation compaction are determined by experimental study on vibroflotation compaction without additional backfill on the typical construction area. The adopted construction parameters and technological process satify the requirements of the project by detecting the typical construction zones, and are available for the succeeding large areage land construction. The study is valuable to provide available construction parameters and technological process for the construction of large acreage land, and it is a reference to the design and construction of similar projects.
