Reactive powder concrete which is a new type of material received extensive attention in recent years. It has excellent compression, bending, crack resistance, durability and other properties. This paper is through comprehensive analyzing research on results of current domestic and foreign theory and application, focusing on the reactive powder concrete in bridge engineering application. Through pilot study of reactive powder concrete of the new cement-based composite materials, as well as the mechanical properties of the conservation system on mechanical properties affected. The superior crack resistance and the cracking moment expression of the RPC beam containing steel fibers were analyzed by RPC model test on the use of beams and general development of the cracks in concrete beams and shape. And finite element method was used to the theoretical analysis based on dynamic characteristics of RPC beam. Then, the overall quality characteristics which can improve the stiffness of a beam by using reactive powder concrete were analyzed .Through measuring the mechanical properties of RPC by the soaking solution, the excellent corrosion of RPC was discussed. With reference to the engineering practice of China, the bridge project for the application of reactive powder concrete mix design and the specific conservation and construction technology were gotten. With reference to the overall development status of China bridge engineering, the various reactive powder concrete excellent technical performances were discussed, and the feasibility of the reactive powder concrete application in bridge project was analyzed preliminarily, also, technical and economic analysis and evaluation were conducted. The research results were a certain reference value to further promoting and application of reactive powder concrete materials in bridge engineering.
