Considering the gradually exhausted non-renewable sources and environmental protection, the developmental technology of new energy resources such as wind energy generation has been increased high speed. Due to the higher power ratings of wind turbine are increasing constantly, the research on the new technology of varying speed constant frequency wind energy is developed. This thesis presents a deep research on the control technology of double fed induction generator (DFIG)-based wind energy generation system: Firstly, using the method of stator-voltage-oriented vector control build the mathematical model of DFIG-based wind energy generation system, and doing simulated experiment. Based on the comparison study of the known strategy, this paper proposed a novel direct power control strategy using space vector modulation for DFIG-based wind generation systems can reserve the merits both of direct control and vector control.
