This dissertation is a part of the research project named "The use of CFD numerical simulation technology on the wind-load of structure with complex bodily form" which is supported by China Jingye Engineering Corporation Limited. This paper chooses Large-span Structure as subject investigated. Because of the vast space with no endostyle is relative low, these buildings' roofings are more easily destroyed by wind, so it is necessary to consider the role of Wind-load. These kind of structures' bodily form aye complicated, there are no similar shape can be reference in the existing building structure load code, so the design of structure wind resistance lacks enough guidance.At the present time, field measurement, wind tunnel trial, and numerical simulation are the three major research methods of the Wind Engineering. The substance that this paper main research is the wind-load of Large-span Structures that based on numerical simulation method. The core of the numerical simulation method theory of the wind load is Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and numerical calculation method. It uses a set of differential equation to describe the mobility status of gas in space. The first thing is to disperse the computational domain. The second thing is to change the differential equation to be algebraic equation. Then we can determine the numerical solution of differential equation and get the characteristic of flow field.This paper chooses the common CFD calculation simulation software-Fluent 6.2 to be calculation terrace. The research contains two portions.The first portion is to use numerical simulation method to research wind pressure and wind field of the simple cubic structure. First, this paper research the wind pressure of the single cubic structure with different turbulence model and different situation of grid. Secondly, this paper research the wind pressure and wind field of two adjacent cubic structures with different distance and different wind direction angle, and sums up the characteristic of the two adjacent cubic structures' disturbing influence.The second portion is to use the WuHan TianHe airport's new terminal building to be calculation instance. This paper use numerical simulation method by computer to simulate the Geometric model that build as physical size. Then this paper analyzes the simulated result as follows: (1) This paper calculates the coefficient of mean wind-pressure, and compare and analyze it and the result of wind tunnel trial, then verify the validity and veracity.(2) This paper research and introduce the pulse wind-pressure of the surface of terminal building, and use the formula that contain turbulent kinetic energy to calculate the pulse wind-pressure coefficient, then compare and analyze it and the result of wind tunnel trial.(3) This paper analyze the flow field around the terminal building, and research the distribution of flow field and the mutual disturbing influence of the terminal building's each part.Through the above research and analysis, this paper provide the reference for the wind resistance's study and design of Large-span Structures, it also help people to enact the Large-span Structures' wind-load code, then sums up the useful of numerical simulation method on wind-load's study. At last, this paper looks forward the further work.
