With the socialist economic construction of large-scale development, the proposed construction of the giant,large-scale water conservancy and hydroelectric project, the slope with height of 100m and even 1000m. in China, the role and status of governance increasingly more important.on the rock high slope.In hydroelectric projects, railway projects, roads and other construction projects, often require excavation of high slope, slope excavation stress arising from the rock would lead to the release of rock deformation. Slope deformation of the study was the key issues to evaluate high slope stability, more and more attention by the people.Through the abundant geological investigation of construction tracing in situ-site, combining with the systematical deformation inspection and 3D numerical simulation of the intake on the left bank for Xiluodu hydroelectric, is studied to the deformation in excavation process and its mechanism and then explore the stability of the slope. The main results are showed as follows:1,On the basis of engineering geological condition investingation, conbined with the slope excvaction, the rock mass structure characteristic of the intake slope have been fully suudied.These include the structure plane engineering scale classification; the development features of structure plane; the grade of rock quality.Then,the rock mass structure model of the slope has been established.2,Through the deformation damage phenolmena disclosed during intake slope excavation investingation, illustrated that the intake slope in the construction process of deformation is the release of rock deformation and wedge deformation, in addition to the above deformation,there is extrusion deformation after the shaft excavation.3,Inferred from the monitoring data analyzed result after slope excavation and shaft excavation, excavation in the course of the slope with the lifting stress release or unloading secondary role, rock relaxation deformation to the direction of the invading and analy its genetic mechanism.4,Intake slope stability in the whole state, but stability problems exist locally after the slope and shaft excavation, using block theory of the partial slope stability assessment.
