Jacked pile is now widely used in the cities because of its various advantages. However, jacked pile also has its own disadvantages. The prominent problem is that during the penetration of the pile into soils obvious compacting effects in soils around the pile takes place and this affects the engineering environment seriously. Many researchers studied the problem, but they did not get completely satisfied results up to now. From their research it is found that the problem is very complicated because it involves in multiple basic theories.Based on the previous studies, the author has further studied the problem of soil compacting. The main original work includes:1,Analysis for the soil compacting mechanism of jacked pileIn this paper, the course of penetration is regarded as expansion of cavity. Combining with the knowledge of elastic mechanics and plastic mechanics, we make analysis for the soil compacting mechanism of jacked pile. Meantime, based on the initial stress, we analysize the influences of initial radius ratio to radius of plastic zone,radial displacement,ultimate stress and excess pore water pressure.2,Combining with a BaoSteel project to analysize the excess pore water pressure caused by the sinking of jacked pileCombining with project, this part analysize the measured excess pore water pressure, some laws and conclusions are obtained. Meantime, based on the measured excess pore water pressure, this part contrast the result copmputed by theory and measured data.3,Combining with project to analysize the affecting range of soil compacting effects and effect of digging grooveCombining with project and using formula, this part analysize the affecting range of soil compacting effects. Meantime, using FEM based on CEM to analysize the effect of measures reducing soil compacting effects. The emphasis is to study the measure of digging groove to reduce soil compacting effects.This article can guide jacked pile project to estimate excess pore water pressure and use rational measures, which has important pragmatic value to project.
