Based on the high development of the modern science and electronic technology, numerical method has made a great progress and applied to all major fields of the scientific and engineering, and the study on soil-structure dynamic interaction is becoming the issue in all of the university and scientific research institute. On the thesis of general finite element analysis, this article discussed the soil-structure dynamic interaction. The foundation and the rockfill dam were divided into four-node iso-parameter element. Considering the non-linearty of the soil, Duncan&Zhang model was adopted to simulate its constitutive equation in this article. And Newmark-βmethod was used to analysis in time history. The Frontal Solution Method was employed in solving equetions. The paper also presents the artificial boundary and the input of seismic wave motion. In the computing, the consistent mass matrix and material damping were used to form the soil-structure dynamic stiffness matrix.
