Landslides refer to the whole movements and courses of rock and soil locating in slopes under gravidity or external forces. According to the movement styles, the landslides can be classified to two kinds, i.e. creep landslides and express landslides.In Chongqing reservoir region, there are many slopes consisted of loose earth. Here loose earth refer to loose accumulation which has high disperse and layer structure, being formed during Quaternary. The stabilities of these slopes consisted of loose earth are mainly correlative to characters of the loose earth.In this paper, the author has research deep on the physical and mechanical characters, creep characters and mechanic strength attenuation characters during absorption of loose earth under rainfall. The results have significant instruction and application value in understanding the start-up mechanism and predicting the landslides calamities of the slopes under rainfall in the region.1. Make deep research on the loose earth' Specification features in the region, physical and mechanical parameters under diverse water contents or degrees of compaction such asγ,μ,E,k,C,φ.etc. In the same time primary researches has been done on the diversified characters of the loose earth under diverse water contents and degrees of compaction.2. Make deep analysis on another induce factor the strength of the rainfall to case slopes start-up. Also provide the most dangerous rainfall combination to stability of slopes in the region.3. Make deep research on the typical loose earth's absorption and permeability in the region, and get available conclusions.4. Make deep research on the typical loose earth's creep during absorption, make up the creep model of the earth and analyze the earth's swelling and creep process during absorption and sheared.5. Make deep research on earth's mechanic strength attenuation characters during absorption, make up loose earth's strength theory,analyze and calculate the mechanic strength attenuation mechanism underdiverse water content. Based on above, find diversification rules of theearth.6. Make up trail models by analysis, observe and analyze the data in diverse stages of the trail, which is the displacement of the slopes with loose earth.7. Make deep research on the non-liner start-up courses of the typical loose earth slopes in the region while rainfall, calculate the start-up displacement of the typical earth slopes during rainfall by theory, obtain fairly rational outcomes.
