With the application of computer and neural network technology in mine waterdisposal, the automatic control system of mine water disposal is required to bemore complex and more exact. It is important to develop the automatic controlsystem, which has ability of forcast, diagnose and control. Sensors are importantcomponent in automatic control system of mine water disposal. With the effectof all kinds of objective factor and subjective factor, the fault occurs in theexterior devices of the system. Forcast and diagnose of sensors is the mostimportant part of control system of mine water disposal. So it is necessary forthe system to diagnose by itself. Neural network has the merits of forecast andmemory and real time.The study of fault diagnosis of virtual instrumentation based on artificialneural network is primary work. It achieves the aims with the use of virtualinstrumentation and artificial neural network technology. The article firstlyintroduces the knowledge of virtual instrumentation and artificial neuralnetwork technology, and use three neural networks to simulate forcasting anddiagnosing fault. Applicate it to spot and introduce the design of the system.The design uses virtual instrumentation to replace traditional instrumentation,and achieves the aim of fault diagnosis of sensors.
