Cyclotrons are widely used in fundamental researches in national defense, isotopes production, medical diagnosis and therapy. The research theme of this dissertation is about the transport system design of a 100MeV intense beam H- Cyclotron. This system is adapted in the case of energy variable from 70 to 100MeV. The matching calculation and the element design are considered for the proton beam transportation from cyclotron extraction to laboratory. The result shows this system can meet the need of proton beam transport from 70 MeV to 100 MeV by changing magnetic field in a small range. In the first three chapters, the theory of cyclotron beam dynamics and beams transport was introduced. The program TRACE 3-D was also introduced in this part. As a program for beam transport calculating, its reliability was also discussed. The Transport system was designed in chapter four, including the extraction part, the periodic part and the transport part. In the first part design, we took into consider changes in initial beam status; two types of quadrupole units, doublet and triplet, were compared in periodic part; to meet the high quality beam requirement of laboratories, the methods of augmenting the momentum dispersion were used in the last part. Two kinds of methods of quadrupole design were studied. Comparisons of these two methods were discussed to find which method was better in this design.
