Research On The District Space In Ancient Cities Causing Children Communication Behaviors

Many traditional living-districts disappeared in large-scale reformation starting from 80's gradually. The social network and the neighborhood relationship formed in a long-term also vanished during the period of that time. Not only the material but also the living environment which the growth of children depended on encounters the breakage. Because it is short of the conditions that cause the natural game community form, the opportunities of participating the communication activity and the traditional game reduce. Nowadays, the diversification of children association can't be satisfied with the concentrated game field as in residential are.Focusing on children's communication behaviors happening in the streets and lanes space, the paper chooses the traditional district Jingying which are protected integrity. The content mainly includes three aspects as following:(1) The streets and lanes space which has clear layer, proper dimension is abundant. Children activities are versatile, and the relationship of neighbors is harmonious. For carrying the research on the streets and lanes space of Jingying district more systematically, the author asks for the method of Architecture Typology. The streets and lanes space are divided into five major types, and round a dissimilarity of matching the way according to the streets and lanes interface thin change into nine types.(2) Nowadays, the children are more and more focused on by the society. That matching the space mode of children's mental state can usually induct more association behavior occurrence. It is good for the development of children in body and character. By the help of the work in the field of Environment- Behavior before, the author goes deep into analysis on mental and environment characteristic of children.(3) A place where people want to stay and satisfy the needs of association is called space. Why the amenity has spirit is the person's behavior. The paper asks the theories of the Space-Behavior Relation for help to study the children's behavior in Jingying district. Then the author wants to explore the mode which can induct children communication easily in the streets and lanes space. Then put forward suggestions to improve the space environment. It has several characteristics that the streets and lanes space which cause children communication behaviors occurrence. The characteristics are easily-arrival, imagination, cultural, safety, natural and so on. The result of the study will be an example of abundant theories.
