In the power market environment, people put forward a more request for the power system economy, so the operation environment of the system has become worse, and endangers the security and stability of power system inevitably. It is a matter of great significance to make fast and exactly transient stability analysis for power system' security and stability, the main analysis method is numerical integration. Though lots of methods were presented by far, none of them is fast and reliable enough for practical use.The paper researches the methods of transient stability analysis, points out that the iterated solving of network equations takes up most of the solving time. In this paper, the generator model of constant transient voltage and the invariableness impedance model was used, and the saliency of generator is included; through the analysis of the characteristic of the network equation calculation in the transient stability analysis, a new node ordering algorithm is proposed. Better initial value can accelerate the convergence rate of the networking equations, reduce the number of iterations, thus to cut down the amount of calculating time. Based on this consideration, this paper presents two forecast algorithms—Generalized Extended Forecasting and Automatic Regression Forecasting Algorithm, expecting to get a better initial value for the networking equations. Test result on many power systems indicates that this method have effective performance.
