The hybrid deep water wharf uses caisson as infrastructure and steel tube pile as superstructure. The merit of gravity caisson wharf and high pile wharf is centralized in this structure. It can have wide application prospect in engineering. The joint of high pile wharf and caisson is very pivotal, it needs to have straightforward force and simple type of structure. The feasibility of using the big-diameter anchor bar embedded parts as the joint is the key problem needing settlement.It is prescribed in the concrete structure design code of our country that the diameter of anchor bar of the embedded parts less than 8mm or more than 25mm is inadvisable. Whereas big-diameter bar is often used in harbour structure, the experiment is carried out to research the dynamic behavior of the big-diameter anchor bar embedded parts, considering the load-bearing characteristic of the hybrid wharf joint. Based on experimental and theoretical analysis, this thesis carried out following aspects:1.The big-diameter anchor bar embedded parts have been designed in the experiment. There are 16 specimens in two groups dia. 28mm and 32mm. The design scheme and the process of manufacture of these embedded parts are mainly described. In addition, the paper introduces the loading scheme and test apparatus.2. The ultimate load-bearing capacities and the failure modes of the big-diameter anchor bar embedded parts are studied under tension, shearing and tension-shear loadings respectively. The influence of different embedded parts detailing on the mechanical behavior is also studied. Through analysing the phenomenon and summarizing the failure rule of the experiment, the capability of the joint is verified. The experimental values are compared with the theoretic values based on formula of the embedded part in the actual concrete structural design standard.3. Bearing mechanism of embedded part is analyzed. Conclusions drawn from this experiment can be used as a reference for design and engineering practice.The experimental results show that the big-diameter anchor bar embedded part has good mechanical properties. It can be used in the design of the hybrid wharf and have wide application prospect in engineering.
