Research On The Virtual Block Machine

With the rapid development of the computer technology, communication technology and control technology, many a train control systems based on the wireless communication have been used in the foreign railways, which changes the railway transportation condition greatly. The virtual block technology researched by this paper is a Virtual Block Train Control System based on the existent Wireless Cab-signal, the system can be incorporated with the existent train station interlocking system, and control the train's running in the section according to the virtual block way, the virtual block machine is the control core of the station equipment of the Virtual Block Train Control System. The paper studies about the makeup, function and critical technology of the Virtual Block Train Control System, designs the structure of the virtual block machine, and make a study about the relation between the virtual block machine and other systems, as well as the data flows among these systems, what's more, the paper mainly makes a research on the train control outside and inside the station, control area of the virtual block machine, control power switch between the virtual block machines, registration and writing off of the train, data note and temporary speed limit. The paper analyses the reliability and security of the virtual block machine from the point of software and hardware design in the end.
