| Through the research work on the 21 skyscrapers in small Lujiazui area in Shanghai Pudong and the relevant theories about the two different kinds of the standard floor plans, the author researched and discussed the 3 aspects relative to the standard floor plans: structure selection, function arrangement and architectural form. Finally the author came up with some architectural design trends, which appeared in the above 3 relative aspects, in the courses of the development of the skyscrapers in that area.
