Quality management aiming at process is the core of notion on quality management system standard (ISO9000-2000 version). Quality improvement of process is the activity where the process affecting quality is found and improved, and the expected object is realized, and that is a section of continuous improvement. It is perpetual quality improvement for each process that constitutes continuous quality improvement activities of an organization, and continuous improvement is entire goal of an organization. FLRY, which apply in electronic and circuit control for Germany brand's motor vehicles, is a type of low-voltage road vehicles single core cable with thin PVC insulation wire in Germany standard. In this paper the key process of FLRY is core product in Suzhou Draka cable Co. ltd has been studied, and analyzed the quality approach and method for FLRY product with thinking of continuous improvement in quality. Investigation proves that optimization of extrusion parameter can reduce effectually the spark breakdown of FLRY product, which will improve directly quality of FLRY product。The major works covers as below items in this paper: Verify FLRY 0.35mm2 is improvement object by analyzing spark breakdown rate, sales, and output of each size product of FLRY product.4 group factors----human, PVC &color compound, conductor, and extrusion parameter will effect spark breakdown of FLRY 0.35mm2 by fish bone analysis. The group factor of extrusion parameter is major factor by further study and confirmation.By design of experiment and ANOVA method, define the key effect factor for spark breakdown in extrusion parameter, and gain the optimized process window of extrusion JMP statistical software.
