Laser imaging fuze is a new developing direction of optics fuze, the capability of target image identifying indicates the performance of the laser imaging fuze, so the system of target image identifying plays an important pole in the laser imaging fuze.Because it's applied in the special production, fuze must has the performance of real-time,credibility and miniaturization. Image processing has the characteristics of mass dada,complex algorithm and big circuit-size , which makes it difficult to fulfill the target image identifying system. So we study the technology of target image identification based on the image edge characteristics.Firstly , introducing the structure,principle of laser imaging fuze and the characteristics of target signal in this paper .Then introducing the general image edge detection algorithm, According to the characteristics of fuze's image , the artificial neural networks algorithm is proposed, it's structure and procedure and merit are described, some problem are proposed in the design ,and the solutions are presented. subsequently, the technology how to fulfill the circuit of target image identification is proposed。FPGA(field programmable gate array)is made up of mass logic processing elements。It has the powerful parallel-processing capability and the merit of rapidness,miniaturization,small power and so on . It is adapted to realize the artificial neural networks algorithm and to be applied to missile. The design of FPGA system is described , including digital circuit,VHDL program and the time-simulation result, some problem are proposed in the design ,and the solutions are presented.At last, the anti-jamming ability of target image identifying system is analyzed.The system of rapid target image identifying is realized based on the hardware ,which improves the speed of signal processing greatly,and makes it possible that the method of image processing is applied in the fuze signal processing ,and accelerates the development of laser imaging fuze.
