The damage caused by earthquakes at home and abroad indicates that engineering structures will go through enormous nonlinear deformation and even collapse under medium or strong earthqukes. Infilled frame is a very common structural system used in the building structures. The study of this kind of structure about dynamical reaction and economic loss will be great importance in theory and of practical values. In recent years, performance-based seismic design theory is recognized step by step. The study of this has now become the present hot spot of earthquke engineering. This text based on PBSD theory put forward a simplified method to determine the assessment of RC frame Structures under ground motion, the main content is as follows:For determining the elastic reaction of RC frame, a simple method used continuum model. The Cantilever Beam is used for simulating the frame , shear stiffness,period and mode can be speculatd by fundamental natural period. Based on alaysis of mode of vibration resolving, top and interstorey displacementof current structureis put forward.Based on nonlinear analysis procedure OpenSees,finite element model of frame is carried out under earthquake wave, the outputs of it validated the veracity of continuum model. For the case of that a great deal of frames are not symmetrical,the analysis of parameter sensitivity with stiffness,height and mass is established.The method for evaluating nonlinear reaction of code of building design is lacking comparatively. For consideration of stiffness effect of infilled wall, three-line degenerative adoptive model of resilience is constructed. By confirmed the parameters on the skeleton curves, the reaction of frame structure can be easily obtained.For consideration of the parameters, such as stiffness ratio,period ect, the accumulated formulator of elastic-inleastic displacement is deduced. This method can simplified calculation during evaluating the existing bulidings.With performance based seismic design, the model for estimating the direct loss of earthquke-induced building damage is carried out. Based on analysis a engineering case, the flow of simplified method to determine the assessment of RC frame Structures in this paper is stated detailedly .
