The development of transport system facilitates the adoption of segmental prestressed reinforcement concrete bridge piers. But throughout the world, seismic researches of segmental prestressed reinforcement concrete bridge piers are seldom. The researches of our country fall behind that of USA and Japan.In this dissertation, through pseudo static tests on segmental prestressed reinforcement concrete bridge piers modals, seismic researches of segmental prestressed reinforcement concrete bridge piers subjected to cyclic horizontal displacements were investigated. Simulations on specimens have been done by inelastic fiber beam-column element models.The following works have been done in this dissertation:(1)Through pseudo static test, seismic researches of segmental prestressed reinforcement concrete bridge piers were studied. At the same time, destroy characteristics have been recorded. Comparisons have been done between specimens on hysteretic loops, skeleton curves, ductility, stiffness, energy dissipation and residual displacement.(2)The simulation results have a good agreement with the test measures. And parameter analyses have been done, such as axial ratio, reinforcement ratio, configuration of prestressed bars, prestressing ratio and prestressing force.
