Preliminary Analysis And Assessment Of Regional Engineering Geological Conditions In Beijing Yizhuang Town

Through the methods of analysis of collected materials, outdoor investigation, the physical prospecting, the drilling, the trenching as well as the laboratory test and the model building, this paper concludes that in the working areas the main geologic hazard and adverse geological functions are as follows: active fault, liquefaction of sand, land subsidence and fills created by human activities (including buried wastes, etc.) and soft soil distribution. The adverse geological functions, engineering geologic conditions, the place stability and engineering construction suitability are analyzed and graded in this paper. Some preventive measures aimed at solving these problems are also brought up.
