Under the background of actual measurement requirements, a device which consists of capacitance-resistance divider, fold band shunt and self-integrating Rogowski coil is developed to measure the high voltage and pulsed current generated in the process of exploding wire. The device is made on the principles of small size, low cost, high measuring accuracy and reliability. The main experimental process is as follows:1. Analyze the working principles and parameter design principles of voltage divider, shunt and Rogowski coil, and especially calibrate the peak value measurement of voltage measuring device with high voltage probe produced by Tektronix Corp. 2. The mutual verification of shunt and Rogowski coil is proposed to remove the difficulty of calibrating the heavy current measurement devices, and the measuring error of device is also investigated. 3. Discuss the effects and necessity of anti-interference, analyze the exiting interference sources of device, and use electromagnetic shielding and grounding to protect the device from interferences.With the developed measurement device and experimental apparatus of exploding wire , a lot of measuring experiments are carried out and good results are gained. Plenty of experiments have proved the measuring device for exploding wire to be accurate and reliable.
