This paper introduces the topology of the Buck-Boost inverter which is used in DC/AC transforming. This system includes both of the same basic Buck-Boost DC-DC convertor connected in series. The study and analysis of different control strategies are also including in this paper. For the Buck-Boost DC-AC inverter, traditional PID control strategy and bi-directional energy transferring control strategy are both studied. As a new control method, the method of energy control is looked on the change of output voltage as the change of energy, in the circuit integrally. And in the process of the inversion, the energy which can make the output voltage traced the given reference voltage will be calculated accurately, and then according to this calculated result the switch will be controlled to be on or off. In this way the energy transfering from input DC side to output AC side can be controlled accurately, so it can reach the requirement of the converter spec. The inverter doesn't need extra filter circuit, have low THD and high quality of electric power performence.This paper will do the analysis of the Buck-Boost inverter, mainly on the theory of energy control strategy. Thanks to the PSPICE simulation system, the system under PID and energy control are both setuped, then the simulation results prove the validity and preponderance of energy control, comparied to other control strategies such as PID control and SPWM control.
