| This dissertation is a part of the research project named "Analytical Models on the non-planar Seismic Response of a Reinforced Concrete Wall-beam Joint", which is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The mechanical behavior of a non-planar beam-wall joint, equivalent frame model as well as the numerical modeling will be studied in this project. With the development of high building structures, the mechanical capability of non-planar beam-wall develops into a new research hotspot. However, there has been no coincident conclusions gained yet.The main contents of the present dissertation are listed as follows:(1) Based on elastic medium plate theory, the non-planar bending problems of the shear-wall subjected to non-planar bending moment at the joint are studied, from which the distortion of the wall, the rotation stiffness of the joint and the moment of the wall are deduced.(2) Parameters affecting the results above are studied here and primary factors are concluded.(3) Considering combined action of bar and concrete, the study is expanded to orthotropic plate, and the answers to the wall are further discussed.(4) Equivalent frame model is introduced into this dissertation, which makes the analysis straightforward and a simplified formula of the equivalent width is obtained.(5) The results are compared with that obtained based on thin plate theory, in order to determine the scope suitable for medium plate theory. |
