Multi-model transport is advanced stage of the development of transport, and an inevitable trend as well. So many countries have taken it as applied in the key point for future development. Though it has widely practice, sometimes we overlooked studies on its theory.The papers focus on the transportation optimal model and algorithm in the multi-modal transport. According to the network characteristic of multi-modal transport system, the virtual network of multi-modal transport system is established. Depending on the application requirements, the transportation modes combinatorial optimization model and the Shortest time path model are designed. Considered various points of transit time, freight, transport capacity installed in different and the possibility of premise, the optimal combination of multimodal transport is determined; shortest time path model, considered a key mode of transport for the conversion time and the cargo delays may occur, design the time analysis fig for Multi-model transport network. Considering the complexity of multimode transportation, we decide to use Genetic Algorithm (GA) as the efficient tool to solve the optimization problem. Every path is converted into a single byte in the chromosome. The generation is evolved by some rules and the best chromosome is got at last.Among the last, PVC sales logistics of Elion Resources Group Company is designed. According to different target markets, application of the transport optimization model, the minimum programme of transport costs have been received.
