As a new type of compound material, Reactive Powder Concrete(RPC) has many characteristics such as high-strength,high-tenacity,high-durability,good economic function,good environmental protection function and etc. RPC has much more superiority than the normal concrete and the high-strength concrete in its performance. At present ,Research on Reactive Powder Concrete(RPC) in China mostly focus on material basic performance rather than local pressure. Therefore this paper will mainly make the intimate research to the local pressure of RPC.In this paper, the main contents is local pressure performance. Cracking strength and ultimate strength of local pressure are researched through the test of 39 RPC blocks. According to the ratio of cracking strength and ultimate strength of local pressure to determine whether blocks are ductility destruction, finally get the conclusion to RPC is the best ratio in area of local pressure is Ab/Al< 10 for ductility destruction; and did the regression analysis to experimental data, then get the local pressure cracking strength increased coefficientβcr=0.57016 (Ab/Al)0.67135, local pressure limiting strength increased coefficientβ=0. 9 (Ab/Al)1/2 (to consider local pressure limiting strength should have sufficient guarantees Rate, the coefficient of test data is determined by the lowest curve).The article researched the influence of the Location of local pressure RPC to the strength of local pressure. Furthermore, the simulate research is been done for prestressed RPC structure to determine if its necessary to use indirect steel under the anchor of prestressed RPC structure.To check the test results, using ansys to built models of RPC blocks and make nonlinear analysis. Then to compare the results with the experimental data to check the reliability of the experimental data.To sum up, the results of this paper may provide certain information to draw up the structural design specification of RPC.
