The auxiliary inverter of electric locomotive is used to provide power for the fan load which cools down the main circuit and offer wind regime for the air brake system. Its working status is critical for the stability and safe operation of the locomotives.This dissertation is written with project "200km/h electric locomotive's auxiliary inverter designation"of Datong Electric Locomotive Company Ltd. which has been joined by the author as its background. The paper illustrates the structure of the main circuit and the devices of the 200km/h electric locomotive inverter. We design the drive circuit of the auxiliary inverter and the circuit contains modules like "function alternative module" which can generate deadzone automaticly, and results show that designation of the drive circuit is in reason.We analyse the SPWM and SVPWM control strategies of the electric locomotive's auxiliary inverter. And we have emulation the two control strategies and the results show SVPWM is more suitable for the controlling of electric locomotive's auxiliary inverter. Firstly, the thesis analyzes the operating principles of SVPWM control technique in detail. And the modulation wave functions are deduced. At the same time, to simplify the calculation, an optimized simpler method is used to realize the digital algorithm, and C programs are written.As for validating the correctness of software, we build the small power hardware experiment device. Protection module and control module based on the TMS320F2812 are designed. This thesis has finished the debugging of the system, and the result shows that software of the designed system is in reason.Auxiliary inverter is an important electrical component of the electric locomotive. For examining and repairing convience of auxiliary inverter, the author has provided several methods for building the testing pantform. The auther finished the analysis for testing platforms of the auxiliary invertor system of electric locomotive. The result shows that the improved test platform can not only test the performances of the auxiliary inverter of electric locomotive but also can save lots of energy.
