I # deformation was located in underside dam site of Da Shi Xia hydropower stations in front of the left bank of the toe board slope, downstream from the boundary line more than 200 m, 1480 m around the front elevation, elevation 1870 m after the margin around the side of about 125×10~4m~3, above the normal water level is about 61×10~4m~3. Its geological conditions is complex , the deformation is diversity, and then it is a complex geological body. If the dam site is choosed in the under dam line, according to the program of Concrete Face Dam, left bank toe board slope , water diversion holes and flushing tunnel will face sloping because of the direct excavation of I #deformation, its stability will be destroyed And a direct impact on the safety of the dam construction and the normal running after water storage.On the basis of field of geological survey, on-site test, laboratory test and data compilation ,the paper expounds engineering geological conditions of the I # deformation; Through the analysis and research of deformation phenomenon and the induction and summarization, descript the deformation mechanism of shallow and deep of the deformable rock, and then accordingly it has been reached a geologic model in accordance with the geological condition . On this basis ,a reasonable geomechanics models is founded ,three-dim FEM numerical analogue analysis method is used on deepening simulation study and comparison analysis of stress and deformation fields on the natural and engineer excavation conditions, current situation evaluation and forecast evaluation after water storage + excavation were carried out by using rigid body limit equilibrium method, making a sensitivity analysis for each effect factors , then the reliability analysis was carried out for stability of the deformation body using statistical moments point approximation method and comparison of two methods of evaluation of the results that the stability of the final evaluation of results; Finally, according to deformation of the deformation characteristics and stability in the evaluation of the slope we make some governance advice for the construction process.Analysis of that, I # shallow deformation to creep deep pull-shaped pattern of fissile .Numerical analysis showed that the natural state of stress more evenly distributed, only fault in the vicinity of stress differentiation, the stress on the foot of the slope; after excavation , the maximum shear stress come to maximum value along the foot of the slope, and the tension stress appeared at excavation boundary , slope deformation mainly to unloading, the largest deformation in the hole at the bottom of the slope face of the excavation platform. Stability analysis of the results shows that in the natural state, A, B two areas are stable, but the partial failure of the existence of possible after the excavation of water storage, A area is still in a stable condition, B area high probability of damage, Slope stability of the poor in high-risk status.The research results has the very important project practice significance that it can guarantee construction quality and the security, avoid the latent harm and control engineering investment and so on.
