The two paths of HPM coupling into the electronic system on satellite are analysed in the paper,the protective measures against HPM are proposed correspondingly. The paper are divided into two parts:The first part: The responding waveform of lead and antenna out of the cavity is calculated on the satellite,based on the results comparing with the applying protective systems,the comparison reprents that the high power limiter cann't protect electronic components effectively.So the new types of limiter should be developed imperatively,including:pseudocubic perovskite thin films limiter and plasma wave-guide limiter,the HPM wave-guide filter could strongly restrain the coupling energy out of the bandwidth range.The main contents are as follows:1. Based on the formulations of the BLT equation and MOM,the responding results of lead and monopole on the satellite are simulated and analysed under the effec of HEMP,HPM,UWB.2. The pseudocubic perovskite thin films are found that they have the properties of great varity of resistance,nanosecond responding time and high carrying capacity with the effect of strong electric field,the paper mainly considers the films in the application field of current limiter.3.A HPM wave-guide filter is designed,which with the parameters of central frequency 12GHz, bandwidth 50MHz,carrying power 42.7dB·W/cm~2.This kind of filter,being used to defend UWB and narrow bandwidth pulse deviation from central frequency,is particularly effective.The second part: The distribution of electric field in the metal cavity of satellite is calculated. we apply the wave-guide intake,conductive gasket and multilayer transparent conductive film to prevent the electromagnetic leakage of slot and optical widow. The main contents are as follows:4. Based on the FDTD,the distribution of electric field in the metal cavity with slot or optical window is calculated at any time, the incident pluse including: a radiative point and vertical incident plane wave,The results can instruct the design of electromagnetic compatibility and evaluation of SE.5. The paper designs a multilayer transparent conductive film to protect optical window,considering the SE and transmission,which achieves 40dB SE and 90% peak transmission,over 80% average transmission.6. Compared with the energy upper limit of electrical component, the SE>80dB is the essence condition to defend effecrtively;At the condition of SE<80dB, the design of internal shielding frame is taken into account to form two-level protective system,meeting SE>80dB. The academic research results in the paper have great instructional value on the defending HPM of aerocraft in experimentation.
