Gearbox is a kind of widely used fundamental parts, and also a key part of machine equipment, whose running condition has directly affects to whole machine or machine set. Ouce The large bridge Gearbox be defects and failure , it will have serious consequences, The research for un-disintegrating diagnosis to gearbox has important practical meaning and economic value.Based on the analysis to domestic and foreign research present situation of machine (especially gearbox) fault diagnosis, this paper makes systematic research for gearbox fault diagnosis. Chapter One: Preface; Chapter Two: The gear vibration mechanical model and dynamic analysis, vibration spectrum under conditions when Gear has lateral or clearance characteristics , particularly on the gear side of the spectrum features and space gear eccentric spectrum characteristics;Chapter Three: The spectrum analysis method; Chapter Four: Gearbox faults and frequency spectrum features; Chapter Five: Examples of large-scale gearbox fault diagnosis; Chapter six:Conclusions.The main contents and conclusions are following:(1) This paper makes a systematical research to probably occurred faults, reasons and classifications in gearbox, which has directive meaning to analyzing the faults.(2) This paper studies the gear vibration mechanical model and dynamic analysis, vibration spectrum under conditions when Gear has lateral or clearance characteristics, particularly on the gear side of the spectrum features and space gear eccentric spectrum characteristics;(3) This paper studies the vibration mechanics of gear-pair, the key parts of gearbox. The mathematical modal of gear-pair is derived.(4) Based on the FFT spectrum analysis method, this paper makes a research to the frequency spectrum features of the gearbox faults. (5) Based on the theoretical analysis, by using the spectrum analysis method, this paper makes a detailed analyzes and diagnoses to the faults of the main gearboxes of 2*250/50t overhead crane in the Power Station of Liujia Gorges. The reasons of faults are ascertained, and the methods of faults eliminating are put forward. Thus the faults are eliminated effectively.
