Self-anchored suspension-bridges are increasingly favored by engineers for their merits such as aesthetic appearance and high adaptability to the land form and geology.It has become a more competitive scheme especially in small and medium-span bridges in cities.This thesis bases its engineering background on the Liede Bridge in Guangzhou, with the deep discussion about the related engineering and technical research of main cable and that of the tension optimization in the hanger system design and monitoring.Firstly,this dissertation makes the simplified analysis of self-anchored suspension bridge based on the present optimization theories such as minimum bending energy principle and internal force equilibrium method.etc,and deduces the simplified analysis method of main cable and hanger system tension optimization in dead load stage.Secondly,using the finite element software MIDAS/CIVIL,it has been finished that the reasonable structure of anatomic model of the Liede Bridge;with the main cable under dead load,we will then get the three dimensional geometrical coordinates of the main cable's every node;by using the finite element reverse analysis program,he then gets unloaded cable shape so as to provide the reliable data for the location of datum strand and the host saddle;Last but not least,he gets the simplified optimization tension of main cable and hanger system and makes the related analysis.With the results of the analysis,the designer can arrange the tension order and tension scale of the hangers.Now we can get the conclusion that it is possible to simulate the geometrical non-linearity prominent suspension bridge's construction procedure well by using the large-scale finite element computation software.At last,the thesis has done the correlation theories research on the self-anchored suspension bridges' monitoring technology of the main cable shape,the cable tension and the effect of temperature and has given the related arrangement to the concerned monitoring work on the Liede bridge construction.Especially,as the typical type used in long span bridge,suspension bridge's geometry is sensitive to the temperature.In order to meet the actual status under construction and service to the ideal status,the temperature effect should be considered as sensitive factor and must be modified.Combining the actual construction condition with the bridge's structural features,we can make a temperature-measuring scheme for the main cable and hanger system.Analyzing the above-mentioned problems,the author understands more comprehensively about self-anchored suspension bridge in the construction process of the optimization theory of the cable and the method of monitoring,and has mastered the use of finite element analysis software so as to get the data of the large bridge.
