Because of their advantages,RC structures with specially shaped columns become more and more popular in recent years.However,there are still a lot of problems to be solved,especially the bad performance of beam-and-column joints under earthquake,and its shear bearing capacity is comparatively low.In this paper,4 aspects have been introduced:1)Properties of specially shaped columns;2)Properties of Steel Reinforced Concrete(SRC);3)Phylogeny of SRC; 4)The basic type of specially shaped column structure of reinforced concrete.Based on these theories,I focus on beam-column joints of Reinforced Concrete BeamSteel Reinforced Concrete Specially Shaped Column,and expecting to do some constructive attempt which is more profound than the previous works.Finite element analysis of reinforced concrete is an important research subject in structure analysis realm.It is finite element analysis which can accurately analyse the mechanical property of large-size and complex configuration in many projects which may difficult to determine by conventional tests.As an attempt,author used nonlinear finite element to analyze the bearing capacity of RC Beam-nodes in frame of SRC Specially Shaped Column.ABAQUS which is a finite element program is used to calculate and analyze the properties,such as bearing capacity of different types of RC Beam-nodes in frame of SRC Specially Shaped Column,development of crack when the joint damaged etc.And compared the result with that of nodes of reinforced concrete.During the analysis process,main factors which affect mechanical properties,damage shapes,bearing capacities and the cracks have been fully considered.By comparing the results,damage mode and mechanic of force transfer of RC Beam-nodes in frame of SRC Specially Shaped Column are pointed out,which offered a new means to the calculate theory and analysis of RC Beam-nodes in frame of SRC Specially Shaped Column's strength,stiffness, deformation and degree of crack growth.
