With the development of our economy, the environmental issue is becoming more and more important. The sandwich cardboard is a type of green material. It is one of the important strategies to use sandwich cardboard as environment friendly cushion material in delivering packing design.This paper studied the compression property of honeycomb cardboard in different humidity. It showed that with the increase of the humidity, the strength of honeycomb cardboard is decreased, and the trend curve is just similar to the conic.The compression property of two different honeycomb cardboard combination structures and single structure was tested in the paper. It was found that the compression property of combination structure is different from that of single structure. The compression breakage curve for the former can be divided into seven stages, whereas single structure's curve has only four stages. In addition, the compression property has no evident difference for the two combination structures. It was also found that the maximum strength of breakage for two different combination structures and single structure is different.In the paper, the cushion curve Gm ?σst was drawn too. and the result showed. Based on the Gm ?σst curve, the C ?σst curve was drawn, which is essential in delivering cushion packing design.The fragility of the float glass was researched by the destructive test, and then five cushion delivering packing systems for the float glass were designed using honeycomb cardboard combination pads. From the five systems, the optimized system was chosen based on the vibration tests.
