The structure optimization design is a new technology which the 20th century 60's develops. It require the people to transform from the traditional passive structure analysis into the initiative structure optimization design, opened the broad prospect for the structural design automation. Traditional optimization is often to design a scheme, then check every index according to the designed scheme, If we do not meet the requirements of the revised structure, and then checking, so repeatedly. This cyclic process can find the structure feasible solution, in fact but is not the optimal solution. The optimization of structure for use by computer can be obtained quickly to the conditions set under the optimal design, greatly accelerates the speed of design, design quality greatly improved.The structure of reinforced concrete frame structure has the construction cost lowly, the plane arrangement is flexible and it is advantageous for standardized construction it has become the important structural style, moreover it still will maintain the good prospect for development. So main question which the designer and the developer care is how cause the structural design economical and reasonable. For a long time, many scholars have put forth a variety of structural optimization theory from a variety of different angles, but common methods to solve these complexes, difficult to achieve such defects, and optimize the use of ANSYS can obtain good results. These methods generally have flaw that is complex and not realistic and so on, but ANSYS carries on the optimization to be allowed to obtain a better effect. For a five-story frame structure example, consider the optimization of the overall structure of space and the establishment of model consistent with the actual situation by ANSYS structural optimization. Because the main beam and the beam have different load, author define the width B1 of girder and the girder height H1, width B2 of secondary beam and the height H2 of secondary beam. Because of different load of every floor column and side column and middle column in every floor, it is defined that middle column section width Dz1 and side column section width DB1 in the first floor, middle column section width Dz2 and side column section width DB2 in the second floor……total of 14 design variables. According to "design Standard of shake proof, the structure take appropriate percentage of reinforcement for a certain value to the smallest volume as the objective function, consider strength, rigidity, axial compression ratio and the maximum elastic relative layer displacement to optimize the design. The structure carried on the optimization under the consideration earthquake function, after the optimization had ended, has withdrawn the structure internal force,the deformation and the stress intensity. After optimization of the size of section size, internal forces and deformation and stress intensity and optimization ago respectively, the results total volume decreased by 5 per cent. This article has also carried on the modal analysis to the structure, after modal analysis obtained the structure mode of vibration and the frequency, based on this and carries on the spectrum analysis to the structure, finally obtains the structure under the earthquake function displacement and the stress.This article not only carried on the optimized design to the frame construction but also to carry on the analysis to it, and this designs to other structural styles construction optimizations and analyzes has the certain reference value.
