Research On SHEPWM Of Three-Level Inverter Based On Intelligent Optimization Algorithms

Three - level Neutral Pointed Clamped (NPC) inverter has been the hot spot of the Power Electronics Technology and Electric Power Drive for its advantages of high switching frequency, low voltage for each switch, and the good export waves. The Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control method is one of the key techniques on three-level NPC inverter. This dissertation researched on SHEPWM of three level inverter based on intelligent optimization algorithms. The main works are as follows:1. Reviewing the development and present situation of three - level inverter, making an introduction of several topology structures and PWM modulation methods of three - level inverter. The dissertation introduces the SHEPWM switching patterns, several solutions of SHEPWM switching patterns, and the intelligent algorithms which are used in this dissertation.2. Based on the introduction of Ant Colony Algorithm (ACA) including its mathematical model, procedure and features in detail, the dissertation introduced the applications of ACA in the TSP problem and the optimization of continuous function.3. Based on the introduction of Genetic Algorithm (GA) including its mathematical model, procedure and features in detail, the dissertation analyzed one of the applications of GA: the optimization of continuous function.4. Building the optimization mathematical model of SHEPWM, dealing with the model by ACA and GA, and getting the switching angels. In order to verify the optimization results, a experimental platform of three - level NPC inverter was built with the core of DSP chip: TMS320LF2407A, experiment is taken out on it. The results proved the effective of SHEPWM of Three - Level Inverter Based on Intelligent Optimization Algorithms.
