The working condition of wheeled construction machinery is quite bad. It does not like that of track construction machinery that had a high anti-skip capability. Therefore, the anti-skip ability of the differential system to wheeled construction machinery is very important. The varying range of self-locking coefficient of traditional wheeled construction machinery differential is small. Its anti-skip function is limited. This could be easy to cause the vehicle to slip and affect its handling stability, passing property and could lower working efficiency. Besides that, in the processing of driving, it can not initiatively adapt the change of working conditions and it is difficult to realize automatic control. Under the tendency of developing in the direction of automation, traditional wheeled construction machinery differential has become increasingly unreasonable.Aimed at these flaw of weak anti-slide function in traditional wheeled construction machinery, this paper takes Inte1 8051 Single-Chip Computer as the control chip, adopts the best slip rate as the control objective, adopts PI fuzzy control logic as the control algorithm to investigate the characteristic of viscous automatic limited slip differential system. System development includes four aspects, the first is the mechanical structure design of viscous limited slip differential; the second is the circuit design of system's hardware, its main contents comprise the design of system exploration, man-machine passage and forward\rear passage; the third is system software design, include the fuzzy logical algorism design by means of Matlab/Fuzzy logic module and main program design; the fourth is simulation system design, using Matlab/Simulink module to simulate the viscous limited slip differential system.The result indicates that the viscous automatic limited slip differential system based on the fuzzy logic control has better anti-skid quality,its automatization and practicality are well. It will overcome the shortcoming that ordinary differential could only distribute the torque equaly, improve vehicles'driving and passing property on the double adhesion coefficient road surface, operation stability and initiative safety.
