Nowadays, the steam turbine-generator set has been developed to high parameter and high capacity. The possibility of that the stability of large turbine-generator set to be destroyed will increase as the capacity of single set has been increased and the shaft has been lengthened, the torque has augmented, the section has been lessened, which results in the decrease of the shaft rigidity. If the shaft of the large set has been destroyed, tremendous economic loss will be made. The steam turbine-generator set has two types of shaft vibration, bending vibration and torsional vibration. It is found after study that under certain condition bending vibration influences torsional vibration and meanwhile torsional vibration influences bending vibration too, which will result in a kind of self-excitation vibration. Because the torsional vibration of large steam turbine-generator set is paroxysmal and extremely harmful, it is of great importance of the set's safety and economic operation to study coupled bending-torsional vibration of steam turbine-generator set in order to prevent the happening of great vibration accidentIn this paper, a c model of sing plate rotor's coupled bending-torsional vibration is established, which is based on the unbalanced electromagnetism force and electromagnetism torque caused by the generator's air-magnetic field eccentricity. And also the influences by quiescence offset, movable offset and mass offset are analyzed.
