This paper describes the study of the algorithm of protective relaying effected by the transient process of UHV transmission line.Based on the distributive parameter and the concentrated parameter of UHV transmission line, author gives some theoretic analysis about the dynamic process under some kinds of faults,there is a"main frequency"component in fault signal high frequency components,its energy is larger than other components of high frequency components obviously,its frequency is determined by fault distance. Based on the concentrated parameter, author researches the affection of serial capacitor and shunt reactor to the transient process of transmission line.With obvious error in results measured by Fourier algorithm under fault on the end of protection rang, author researches the effected factor of its accuracy under the transient process of fault on transmission line.By researching the matrix condition number and measured deviation, analyses some affection for the measured accuracy under different model of least squares,and finds the best model for the fault current and voltage of UHV transmission line.
