This paper developed the direct injection combustion system of diesel engine with dual-injector based on the analysis to the technology development of diesel engines in domestic and foreign, according to the situation of the single cylinder diesel engines in our country. This system is developed from S1100diesel engine that we already have, with this combustion system, the free penetration of fuel spray in the combustion chamber may be increased; the dependence of the mixture on the induction air swirl may be reduced; the thermal load magnitude of the cylinder head and the piston can be cut down; the new arrangement that intake valve and exhaust valve are located the cylinder diameter can be improved; and fuel injection rate that is unhurried at first then otherwise can be realized. This paper design the structure of the diesel engine with dual-injector: developed the cylinder head of S1100diesel engine, to meat the requirements of the new system; adjusted the structure of the high pressure lines and the piston; changed the position and the number of the apertures on the injectors. So the manufacturing line of S1100 diesel engine can keeped up. Finally, the simulation of mixture formation in the cylinder is completed through setting up the fuel injection process model. The fuel injection process model includes the plunger fuel injection pump, high pressure line, branch pipe and fuel injector. The fuel pressure and velocity equations in the high pressure circuit are figured out by the characteristic theory. Experiment is hold out to verify the correctness of the mathematical model. The results show that diesel engine with dual-injector has good mix quality. The property of diesel engine will improved a lot.
