At present, the voltage level of transmission continuously improve, and the distribution has become increasingly wide, the electricity safety issue is conspicuous. The dissertation is based on our lab's research in the field of the Detection system of power transmission. Because the sleet covering disserve the safety of power transmission and the traditional methods of detection is insufficient, this project detects the thickness of the ice by image.With the fast development of modern information technology, the information to be processed increase immensely. The researches and applications of image processing, especially real-time image processing catch great interests from researches all over the world. In recent years, the development of DSP technology has put the theory achievement of digital signal processing field into practical application systems and pushed the progress of new theory and application. At the same time, it plays an important role in the field of image processing. The DSP-based image processing system is applicable in many kinds of practical fields.At first, this paper introduces the architecture of image processing system, and then confirm the design by analysis the practical problems of the subject characteristics. This system is based on TMS320F2812 acquires the image, which is a high performance image processing single-PCB system, integrates the function of sensor, image sampling, processing and data transmission.The output control of image is implemented by SAA7113, FIFO and CPLD, system uses high-speed FIFO implementing the interconnection between video decoder and DSP to achieve the high speed buffering of the video data. This paper solves the issue that F2812 has no DMA by acquiring the image in individual frame. This system implements the I~2C interconnection between the video decoder and TMS320F2812 through software simulation using TMS320F2812's GPIO unit. Through precise timing analyzing and calculation, this system chose high-speed CPLD to implement the cross connection between the chips, using Verilog language to design the CPLD logic, achieved the harmonious operation of the different parts. System uses the serial port to achieve the communication between target plate and PC, then the PC software display the image.This paper also shot the stimulate sleet covering and did some preliminary tests on algorithm. Finally, the dissertation summarizes the system and introduces the more research in the future.
