Two rows of piles is applied widely in the engineering as the most important retaining structure, but most of the theory of design bases on experience or half-experience or analogy between experience and engineering. However, the theory of design improved only a little. At present, studies on two rows of piles of load distribution rule or application condition are only a few. Therefore, it is most important that study in the field of engineering design.The article concludes study of retaining structure of two rows of piles and expansive soil slope, and emphasize reciprocity between pile of retaining structure of two rows of piles and rock and soil mass; The isotropic rock and soil mass slope of retaining structure of one or two rows of piles is analyzed by contrast certrifugal model test, simulations the effect of one row of pile and two rows of piles, ranges the earth pressure of pile body, and the result of test provides reference and compare for analysis of retaining structure and numerical calculation.It applies rock and soil software -FLAC3D for contrast numerical simulation of the isotropic rock and soil mass slope of retaining structure of one or two rows of piles, and considers parameter of different property of a few of isotropic rock and soil mass to contrasts the result of certrifugal model test.There is numerical simulation for steady slip surface slope of one or two rows of piles, it contrasts and analyzes the condition of stress and applies single factor analysis method to analyze the effect of pile spacing L, slip zone soil shear strength, slip bed elastic modulus E for retaining structure of two rows of pils.It applies FLAC3D to analyze stressed mechanism for expansive soil slope and proves expansibility which is the primary season of expansive soil band shallow instability, and analyzes the reciprocity between expansive soil and pile.In conclusion, throught the study for reciprocity of two rows of piles , the effect of different parameter for two rows of piles and instability mechanism of expansive soil slope, it will offer reference for two rows of piles design and government of expansive soil slope.
