In recent years, with the increasing speed of railway in China, as well as the rapid development of high-speed railway, The requirement is also higher and higher for Subgrade fillers of the railway. Load-bearing characteristics and deformation problem Will become the main factors in designing on subgrade bed of high-speed railway. Coarse-grained soil with good engineering properties, has been widely used in the construction of the railway project, And the application is increasing, So the study on the coarse grained soils' Engineering Properties has attraeted lots of attention fro nmany experts. The indoor experiment is one of the important approaches to research the coarse grained soils' engmeenng erties. its results are practical. In order to adapt to the needs of building works, understand their physical and mechanical properties, a lot of soil laboratory test has done. Main contents and conclusions are as follows:1) testing from soil samples and the relative density of the screening test of The coarse soil, From grading and packing the bed base to meet the requirements of both an analysis. Analysis of the results that, AB grading and packing group two rough gravel soil particles are graded excellent, But for the packing Subgrade, Some of its fine particle content of less. By the relative density test that the relative density of the two packing specifications can meet the requirements, and There were a linear relationship between the Two of the stem and packing density and pore over.2) Using different compaction standards, compaction of power and water content of the method of compaction test. To know test results, Compaction from the greater power density greater and the water content of the test method has a greater impact on the results.3) Uesing draining unconsolidation fast shear test and drainage shear repeatedly direct shear test. At the degree of compaction of 95% and 90%, Different vertical stress test under the condition. Through analysis of test results know that, With the increase of vertical stress, the shear stress and parallel displacement of relations between the Hardening and softening is inconsistent, That is closely related with the degree of compaction; The residual strength is samples on the soil; the number of shear stability is different on different degree of compaction, and dilatancy is also different.4) Consolidation test is in the best water and water for two states under the degree of compaction of 96%, 93%, 90% and 87% test. Two sample test results that the plastic deformation of the main, smaller elastic deformation; With the compression modulus of the vertical stress increases with the increase; Compaction state and moisture content of the coefficient of consolidation and the state of pre-consolidation pressures of smaller.5) Penetration test is under the conditions of different density and gradation, Studying its changes of critical gradient and Permeability coefficient. To know the results, There is great impact in critical gradient and Permeability coefficient because of the dry density, fine grading and content.
