Currently,AC,AK,SMA and SUPetc.are commonly used in highway surface course grading in our country.Although the denseness of AC grading is very good,the ability of high temperature distortion and skid-resisting capability is bad.This can easily cause that the brake force is deficient and consequently lead to tuaffic accidents.Although AK grading has better skid-resisting capability and anti-rutting,it has big air void and less durability.The denseness of SMA grading and the ability of high temperature distortion and skid-resisting capability is very good,but its engineering cost is too high,so that it can not widely promoted.Therefore, the research which meets the requirements that can make vehicle quickly,safely and comfortably run and solve the contradiction of denseness and skid-resisting capability of asphalt pavement in the premise of good pavement performance has become a popular topic in home and abroad nowadays.In this thesis,the investigations include the following several aspects:1.Designed 8 kinds of grades by Marshall mixtur design method,Superpave mix design method,SAC design method,SMA design method and determined their optimum asphalt contents.By testing,Analyse the stability in high temperature,skid-resistance,water stability on different grades asphalt mixture.The testing proved that:(1)When VV is 4%,the denseness and water damage resistance is good and asphalt mxiture have the best water stability on the coarse and free ratio is 7:3;(2)Increaseing filler-bitumen ratio appropriate can improve the high temperature stability.The asphalt mixture designed by SAC desing method and SMA desing method have a good high temperature rut resistance.(3)The skid-resistance of the mixture as the coarse aggregate increase in the proportion of the increase.2.Determined the VCA of every grades,Received the rule about the grain size composition and VCA:Asphalt mixture of 13 as an example,if a framework of coarse aggregate mainly by the 9.5mm and 4.75mm constitude,the VCA is stabilization and it is a good construction grade when their ratio is 0.8~1.0.Inspect mineral aggregate grade based on the method of VCADRFand VCAAC.The author find that the method of VCADRFcan design and inspect mineral aggregate grade skeleton formation effectively and it has a good correlation with the test results by bailey method.but the method of VCAAC is not suitable for inspection of Skeleton-denseness in asphalt mixture.3.According to target mix design and detection results about the scene of raw materials, optimization of two grades have producing mix design.Experiment period was pavemented on National Highway NO317,213.Base on the test results of the experiment period and comprehensive consideration of workable performance,engineering economics,pavement performance,make certain the best grade and guiding construction.
