Resiliently supported track is known as a kind of ballastless track. It can reduce vibration and control noise as well. Therefore, it is of practical significance to do some theoretical calculation and analysis on resiliently supported track and to study the parameter's influence on structure design so that the track can be widely used.To analyze the effect of sleeper size and sleeper rigidity on stability of the track, ANSYS structural analysis software is employed to set up a finite element calculation model of rail-sleeper-ballast bed in the present thesis. It studies the size of sleeper, its displacement and sleeper-turned angel with the force of high-speed train and then calculates the variation of the structure force under different parameter value.Based on the above calculation and analysis, the author first proposes reasonable sizes for length, width and depth of short sleeper. Then the author analyzes the rigidity of short sleeper and puts forth a longitudinal displacement limit, a lateral displacement limit and turning angel limit for short sleeper to meet the demands of high speed railway. As a result, an optimal parameter proposal for resiliently supported track with short sleeper is presented. At the end of the thesis, a comparison between short sleeper and long sleeper is made. It shows that resiliently supported track with long sleeper is superior to the track with short sleeper in terms of stablility.
