Egg-shaped digesters have been applied in our country for more than ten years, but they have not been widely used .There are still many questions to be studied and solved in designing, especially the fluid-structure interaction dynamic characteristics of egg-shaped digester under earthquake, are less studied. In this paper, ADINA software is used to process systemic fluid-structure interaction on egg-shaped digester with fluid and provide reference on designing of egg-shaped digester.Firstly, based on the velocity potential-displacement theory, the numerical model of fluid-structure interaction system of egg-shaped digester is established. Through static analysis of egg-shaped digester with fluid, the distribution of displacement and internal forces of egg-shaped digester are obtained. Comparing with the reference, the results accord with each other, which show that the model used in this paper is reliable.Secondly, using the fluid-structure interaction numerical computational model of static analysis, the modal analysis of egg-shaped digester with fluid is done. The dynamic characteristics of structure are obtained and three kinds of mode shapes of structure are obtained. Further, the relationship between the depth of fluid and the inherence frequency are studied.Finally, based on ALE theory, the nonlinear numerical model of fluid-structure interaction system of egg-shaped digester with fluid is established. The dynamic response of egg-shaped digester with fluid under the Tianjin wave and the EL Centro wave are calculated and the distribution rule of hydrodynamic pressures and the internal force under earthquake are gained.
