| By the combination beam which strengthened by structural steel, it means to be one form of composite beams widely applied into the construction project, which functions as a combination of concrete beam and H-type steel, connected by components resistant to shear force. With reference to the experiment research in the steel-concrete composite beam, and its practical appliance into the real projects, a model experiment is carried out on the composite beams strengthened by structural steel, with a purpose to study its shear failure ultimate strain and behaviors subject to the symmetrical concentrated forces.The paper aims at a new method of calculating the capacity of bearing shearing, through the analysis of the elasticity and damaging mechanism to the composite beam. Meanwhile a FEM model of the composite beams strengthened by structural steel, under the impact of the symmetrical concentrated forces, is created and processed in a nonlinear analysis. Based on the yields from the experiment, the influencing factors of the combination beam's capacity of bearing shearing forces are brought into scrutiny.Research achivements proposed in this paper have been applied to the design and construction of buildings. Building practice shows that the experimental study and design scheme are suitable and reliable. The study results may serve as referenc for similar engeering project. |
