The spacecraft relay products are expensive and required to be highly reliable. Reliability statistical test is the important part of the reliability efforts and also it is the necessary technique to ensure the reliability of the spacecraft relay products. It includes reliability measurement test and reliability proof test. The classical test method is based on current test information without prior information. In order to obtain the higher confidence coefficient results,larger workload and more test cost is needed. Then it is difficult to organize, direct, coordinate and implement the test. A new method is needed urgently to adapt the small sample instance and to obtain the results as well as or better than obtain with the classical method in the reliability statistical test field. So it is of great theory meaning and use value.This paper introduces the basic principles of the Bayes methodology. Bayesian method is applied in the reliability proof test of the spacecraft relay products. The paper introduces the reliability proof test plan of the spacecraft relay products based on SPOT method and it will further reduce the sample size of the reliability proof test plan using the truncated test plan in the instance that the test number upper bound is given.This paper gives out the test plans of the initial determination and the upgrade determination as well as the test plans of the maintaining test of the electromagnetism relay failure rate grade applies the prior information offered by the history test data and the engineering Technical experience based on Bayesian method and it achieves the goal to reduce the test workload. The test plans made based on Bayesian method are compared with the test plans in the GJB65B-99 made based on classical method and results denote that the first test plans are better because the first test plans can reduce the workload and improve the test efficiency.This paper applies the Bayesian method in the reliability evaluation. Suppose that there is a prior distribution with the reliability index, the posterior distribution is deduced by the prior distribution and the test information. According to the posterior distribution, Bayes point estimation and interval estimation is solved. In this paper the practical example with the whole test evaluation process is provided.This paper designs and workouts the reliability proof test plans design software based on MATLAB workshop. It provides a designed requirement of this software system. In addition to the software frame, the actualizing methods are presented in detail and the method to develop the GUI (graphical user interface) based on the MATLAB workshop is introduced. This software elementarily realizes the test plans design function.
