The Shape Of The Space And Image About Courthouse

As China's reform of the judicial system, new courthouses are still under construction in our country. The shape of courthouse plays an important role on the molding of a city's image. As the same time, the design of courthouse in a new era, space and the image has been increasingly concerned. This paper aims to draw on the experience of the Western image of the space and image. Trying to gain the comparative analysis of completed courthouse, we try to get some eye-opening experience.Firstly, the paper introduces the function and flow lines of courthouse. Secondly, with Architectural Expression and non-Architectural Expression of the Metaphor design ideas and Typology design ideas, the paper tries to expatiate on the shape of the space and image about courthouse with respect to Culture and Regionalism .Thirdly, the paper gives the analysis on indoor and outdoor of courthouses about Theory and the examples. Finally, by using the forms of design elements such as form law, the paper elaborates the image of the court buildings from the Macro-control of the building to Micro-architectural detail.Of course, the thesis' particular significance is not the method, and it is not a design guidance. It is only describe and summarize the new question about the courthouses in time as well as analyzes the question and phenomenon to obtain applicable design mode and guide the design of courthouses.
