Lime soil compaction pile composite foundation has more uncertainty than nature foundation and pile foundation. Nowadays, there are few researches on the reliability of composite foundation as well as less materials about it. So it is necessary for us to investigate composite foundation from aspect of probability.Based on the past researches, the test reports of twenty-three lime soil compaction pile composite foundation in loess area are gathered and accounted to find out the statistical parameter and the probability distribution type of the bearing capacity of the lime soil compaction pile composite foundation in loess area. According to the normalization limit-state equation, program based JC method is used to calculate the reliability indices in the condition of different combination and different ratio of load effect so that the whole reliability level of lime soil compaction pile composite foundation in loess area can be assessed. The influence factors of the reliability indices are analyzed. Considering the results of the plate-loading test, more reliable probabilistic of the bearing capacity is gained by using Bayes' theorem which supplies a new method for ascertaining statistical parameter in reliability analysis and design. In the light of the statistical parameter and the probability distribution type of the bearing capacity of the lime soil compaction pile composite foundation in loess area, the partial coefficient the designing function which is expressed by total resistance is calculated by JC program and optimized by least error theory. It will offer some reference and evidence to the reliability design method of composite foundation...
