Based on a large number of laboratory tests and deep analysis on the maximum of the wave force on the smooth slope, when the wave is the forward incident, this paper has got the fitting curve about the rule that is the variation tendency of the wave force on the smooth slope. This rule is much similar with the formula in the Soviet Union norm. What is more, this paper also gives the explanation on the difference between them and finds the rudiment rule between the maximum of the wave force and the wavelength. As to the maximum and the working point of oblique incident wave force on the slope, people all along the world haven't gotten much production as far as recently, and this realm is almost blank. Accordingly, the author has done a large number of laboratory tests, and has got a empiric formula and the three-dimensional graph by fitting, which can express directly the variation tendency between the maximum of oblique incident wave force on the slope and the angle of incidence, and the variation tendency between the maximum of the wave force and the wave length.Based on comprehensive laboratory tests, this paper has given the wave force on the vertical face embankment when the wave is oblique. And this paper also gives emphasis to analyze the rule of the maximum wave force on vertical face embankment per unit width with the incident direction, the wave height and the length. The damage degree that waves scour the clay roadbed slopes, is mainly determined by the wave factor(wave height), the clay slope angle and the clay compactness. To the clay slope, proceeding long-time washing experiments for the combinations of two slope angles, several wave heights and clay compactness, the author advances that the breakage which waves act on the clay roadbed slopes is a repeating cave-in, and will be more serious with the increase of wave height or slope angle or the decrease of clay compactness.
