Vehicles braking performance is one of the determination factors of ensuring the security of vehicle's driving and driver properties and also affects its traveling power performance. Maintaining good braking performance is the most important mission of vehicle manufacturers and customers. Evaluation of the three important indexes of vehicles braking performance is including braking efficiency, braking anti-fade character and stability of braking orientation. Braking efficiency which is the most basic evaluation index means the capacity of making the vehicle decrease. Braking system is used to generate the movement of vehicles or prevent movement and trend. Brake assembly braking performance test bed for evaluation includes braking distance, braking deceleration, coordinate braking time and braking force.Brake assembly braking performance measure and control system test bed of vehicles are researched in this paper. Firstly, the brakes working principle, classification, braking process and braking force of braking performance test were analyzed. Then, according to test bed mechanical structure and the demands of measure and control system, the scheme is designed to measure and control system of the braking test bed. It lays the emphasis on introducing the hardware design, software design, DC speed control system and control methods, makes measure and control system come true in this paper. Base on WINCC Distributed Control System through PROFIBUS-DP bus to Master-Slave stations was achieved in the measure and control system. Some conclusions were got from braking force and braking deceleration's data analysis and processing, which are two important measure parameters in the process of braking. Finally, mixed inertia simulation was to be given a brief introduction from speed control and torque control models. Those models have been explained to achieve mixed inertia simulation.
